North face of Salisbury Cathedral carved with hand-forged chisels

" Who made the chisel that carved the Cathedral?"

Traditionally the Blacksmith has always worked with other skilled tradesmen and craftspeople.
His skills have been an essential part in the work of Wheelwrights, Stonemasons, Thatchers and Wainwrights to name but a few.

Simon Makes and repairs the specialist tools needed by many different and diverse trades. A few examples are shown below. Simon can re-produce most tools to either a pattern or a drawing, he collaborates with the craftsman to perfect the balance and design for individual requirements. He also likes a challenge and will be pleased to quote for "one-offs" and special pieces.
